How it's made:
We make our bone broths the same way they've been made for thousands of years: by hand, in a big pot, over a low flame for 18+ hours. The result is rich, gelatinous, and full of essential nutrients.
All of our broths are made in our restaurants in New York City. No third parties, co-packers, factories, or fancy processing involved. We simmer the broth overnight, freeze it, and deliver it straight to your door.
Classic Chicken Ingredients: Filtered water, free range chicken bones, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, thyme, bay leaves, salt, spices.
Classic Beef Ingredients: Filtered water, 100% grass-fed beef bones, onion, carrot, tomato, garlic, sea salt, spices.
Liquid Gold Ingredients: Classic Chicken Broth (filtered water, free range chicken bones, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, thyme, bay leaves, salt, spices), coconut milk, turmeric.
Immunity Broth Ingredients: Classic Chicken Broth (Filtered water, free range chicken bones, onion, carrot, celery, garlic, thyme, bay leaves, salt, spices), garlic, olive oil, ginger, ascorbic acid (vitamin C).
How to use it:
While each of these broths can be sipped on or used for cooking, the Classic Chicken and Classic Beef broths are particularly versatile and most adept to any recipe. They are wonderful in a range of dishes like braises, rice, curries, soups, smoothies (yes, really!), gravy, pasta sauces, and so much more. The Classic Chicken Broth is also the base for our most popular drinking broths in the restaurant, including the Liquid Gold and Immunity Broth. To these later broths try adding ingredients you have around the house like ginger, garlic, turmeric, hot sauce, chicken meat, or rice.
To serve, we recommend heating the refrigerated or frozen broth in a small pot or saucepan on your stove. Enjoy within six months in the freezer and six days in the refrigerator.
